"ثلاثون" ملاحظة حول فيلم "ثلاثون"

لست بالخبير في ميدان التصوير السينمائي ولست ناقدا سينمائيا ولكن الملاحظات التالية هي شخصية بالأساس ويمكن أن أختلف فيها مع الذين شاهدوا فيلم "ثلاثون" لفاضل الجزيري:

1-الفيلم طويل ورتابته جعلته مملا

2- بعض المشاهد المصورة أصابتني بالدوار

3- لم يخل الفيلم من "الكليشيات" الممجوجة كالحمّام ودم القرابين وأشرطة الفلفل الشايح...

4- الفيلم غلب عليه الطابع المسرحي

5-بعض المشاهد جاءت مسقطة ولا تضيف شيئا للقيمة التاريخية للفيلم كتلك التي تظهر سيدي الفياش... وهنا أتسائل ماذا أراد الجزيري تبليغه من خلال ذلك

6- كان من المفيد ترجمة تلك المقاطع الحوارية التي جاءت بالغة الفرنسية أو الروسية خاصة إذا ما تم التفكير في ترويجه خارج تونس

7- الشخصيات الرئيسة بقيت شابة على الدوام رغم مرور الزمن وتعاقب الأحداث وهنا أتسائل على طول الفترة الزمنية التي تمت فيها الأحداث، هل هي سنة، سنتان، 5 سنوات...؟

8-التراوح بين مشاهد الأحداث ومشاهد البنايات كان مملا ويفتقر إلى الفنية

9- الفيلم لم يضف شيئا جديدا على ما تعلمناه في الباكالوريا ودرس الحركة الوطنية

10- افتقدت الشخصيات التي كانت تتكلم بالفرنسية على عنصر العفوية والتلقائية وجاء الحوار آليا مصطنعا إضافة إلى غلبة accent العربي على اللغة الفرنسية

11-مشاهد الأرشيف مسقطة والتلوين الجزئي لبعضها أفقدها قيمتها الحقيقية والتاريخية علاوة على أن التلوين تم بطريقة غير حرفية وغير فنية

12-استحوذت شخصية الطاهر الحداد على اغلب الأحداث في الفيلم فبدا وكأنه الشخصية المحورية في الفيلم

13-لم استسغ مشهد تلك المغنية الغريبة الملامح والمظهر grotesque ولم أفهم ما محلها من الأعراب

14- مشهد "تغسيل" ابو القاسم الشابي من قبيل المشاهد macabre و لا يزيد للفيلم أي شيء بل أضر بالشخصية.

15- التركيز على أجساد الرجال الشبه عارية مبالغ فيه

16-الفاضل الجزيري لم يتمكن من قطع الحبل السري الذي يربطه بعقدة النوبة والحضرة والبخور والزكرة والسطمبالي

17-بعض المشاهد كانت غير مفهومة وغلب عليها الضجيج والضوضاء

18- الإشارة إلى مسالة voile لم تكون عفوية

19- الفيلم لا يستحق كل هذه الضجة الإعلامية

20-إصرار الجزيري على تصوير وذكر أكثر ما يمكن من الأحداث وحشو الفيلم بأكبر عدد ممكن من الشخصيات أضر بالفيلم

21- بعض المشاهد ذكرتني ببرنامج أرضي وفاء ووعود أو وفاء بالوعود أو je ne sais quoi

22- بعض الملابس التقليدية لا تمت للفترة المعنية بأي صلة بل تخال نفسك في اليوم الوطني للاحتفال باللباس التقليدي

23-بعض المقاطع الموسيقية المصاحبة لم تكن مدروسة

24-دور المرأة التونسية في الفيلم بدا شبه منعدم حيث تم التركيز إلا على الفرنسيات والروسيات

25-لم أفهم الغاية من مشهد تلك المرأة السمراء في الفستان الأخضر وهي تتبختر

26-الشخصية التي أدت دور الحبيب بورقيبة افتقدت إلى التلقائية وبعض حركاتها كانت أقرب إلى التهريج منها إلى التمثيل

27- الممثل الذي أدى شخصية "محي الدين" كان مبدعا حقا.

28- هناك بعض السهو ربما غير المقصود في بعض المقاطع من السيناريو كتلك التي يقول فيها شيخ وفقيه بالجامع لتلامذته " سنلتقي يوم الاثنين القادم" دون ذكر كلمة "إنشاء الله".

29- أعجبني دور "عصفور" وتلقائيته على رغم صغر سنه وتأثرت لمشهد قتله في أخر الفيلم

30--لم أفهم الرسالة التي يريد الجزيري تبليغها من خلال فيلم ثلاثون.

Facebook Le Y3eyrouk

I was somehow away from the blogosphere these last couple of weeks but I came back and as usual I went through what has been posted so far during my absence and know what I was flabber-gasted!. The hero of show was of course "Facebook".

Everybody talked about Facebook; how Facebook was censured in Tunisia, how facebook was no longer working in Tunisia because Mr. so and so that Facebook has issued a press statement, that Facebook was working in certain regions in Tunisia and blocked in others, that Facebook will never work in Tunisia... Indeed the world was upside down because of Facebook!

I know some will hate me for what I am saying right now and I cannot blame them for it, I am myself a member of Facebook and I know how amusing and nonethless distracting website it is but to the extent that it becomes like an obsession, a fixation, a mania, a pathology for me, No thank you I don't need Facebook then.

I can however understand the somehow exagerated and over the edge reaction of certain tunisian "facebookophiles", it is like waking up in the morning and you discover that your email box was hacked or just disappeared from the net or also hat you lost your cell phone and with it all your contact information.

Facebook surely provides an easy to acceed to website where people can interact, and act, where people from every spot in the world are interconnected and thus can exchange ideas and visions but I can simply explain the tunisian blogosphere's reaction to Facebook's disappearance from the Tunisian internet scene, as an emotional purge that had its roots in prior similar incidents but I couldn't really apprehend how the idea of Facebook was the only and most outstanding issue that dominated the blogosphere for the last couple of weeks. I personally found it unprecedented in the history of tunisian blogging except for some of the constructive debates over some other issues which I consider much more important than Facebook.

I am now confused, troubled, saddened, puzzled by what is lingering in the Tunisian collective conscience what are the real reasons behind such hyper-emotional and impulsive over-reactions of certain fellow tunisians? what is secret in Facebook that it had created such a virtual upheaval ? Is it a compensation of something they miss? is it a reaction to an overall picture of some problems in the tunisian society? Are my fellow Tunisians aware that there are much more important issues than the Saga of Facebook?

I might be like singing out of the chorus but as a member of the tunisian blogosphere that was a personal reaction to a particular event that dominated the blogosphere for the last couple of weeks or so. I might be wrong or a bit harsh but nonetheless I hope the storm is over now...

Amine Chermiti has finally joined Hertha Berlin football club. The following is an excerpt from an interview the german newspaper "Bild" conducted with Chermiti:

BILD: Herr Chermiti, lange hat Etoile-Präsident Driss den Wechsel zu Hertha verhindert. Wie fühlen Sie sich jetzt?

Chermiti: „Ja, das war hart. Der Wechsel ist wie eine riesige Befreiung für mich. Ich liebe meinen tunesischen Klub, wollte aber unbedingt nach Berlin. Driss ist etwas verrückt, ich habe ihm sogar gedroht, sofort mit Fußball aufzuhören. Jetzt fühle ich mich aber frei wie ein Vogel im Wind. Ich könnte fliegen vor Glück - als ob ein neues Leben beginnt.“

Bild: Mr Chermiti, Driss, the President of Etoile has long prevented you from moving to Hertha. What's your feeling now?

Chermiti: "Yes, it was hard. The change is like a big relief for me. I love my Tunisian club, however, I wanted to move to Berlin. Driss is a little crazy, I have even threatened him to immediately stop playing football. Now, however, I feel free as a bird in the wind. I could fly from happiness - as if a new life begins. ". (Mmmm who listens to this will think Chermiti was in a prison!)

Chermiti concluded his interview by repeating, well with some difficulty," Ich bin ein Berliner". Well you gotta wait dear! that's not as easy as you might think...

Few Impressions About Berlin And The Berliners

It's been already more than a week that I am in Berlin and all in all, I am enjoying my stay here.

To show one's appreciation of a place, a person, an event remains always of the domain of the subjective so what I am going to relate here is but some personal observations and notes I jotted down while here in Berlin.

The first impression I got from the city: how boring it was! but as soon as you get into the city and you visit its most prestigious places you will definitely fall in love with it!Berlin is such a big european city but nevertheless underpopulated compared to other metropolitan cities in Europe. The most striking feature in Berlin is the still visible contrast between the East and the West. Indded eastern Berlin is witnessing a huge transformation. Infrastructure projects and construction sites are everywhere. The city is really growing and catching up with modernity however,there are certain places you can still smell and feel the remnants of Communism like the underground or what the germans call the U-bahn.

Berlin is such an organized city that finding a parking lot is not really a big deal. The roads are big and you can feel this everywhere. The transport system is both organized and efficient.However, one striking specificity that I couldn't explain is the fact that in Berlin you can hardly find a place with air conditioning! People say that they don't really feel the need for air-conditioning and they can live without it. Honestly Berlin's weather during this month of august is quite acceptable for it doesn't get very hot besides there's no humidity which I conisder a real blessing (compared with cities like Washington, DC!;)).

I came to the conclusion that Germany being such a leading european country when it comes to energy consumption and energy preservation, is but a reality. Environmentally speaking Berlin is a quite clean city. I found the awareness of Berliners about the need to protect their environment really amazing! It must be in their collective subconsconscious, I guess. For instance, empty plastic bottles can be exchanged for cash (25 cents a bottle!) in all supermarkets and malls so I don't think it a wise idea to throw your bottles in the dustbin!

Generally speaking, the Berliners are friendly people but you need to be careful when you first meet a Berliner and you ask about something for they might smash you on the face (figuratively speaking of course!) and you will think at first impression how rude and rough they are but as soon as you engage in some chat with them they become really very friendly and easy-going. A Berliner told me that the reason of this behavior is deeply rooted in the history of the city which was known as a city of soldiers and arms and that's why people tend to be a bit rude and rough.

Berlin seems to be a less expensive city than other big european cities (take Paris for instance). Eating out is a joy and the night life is even more enjoyable. For those who like shopping most international fashion trademarks are available but nonetheless quite expensive. In a nutshell, something I will keep in mind from my stay here is how really organized Berlin is!(to be continued).

Getting married, starting a job or going to the dentist have long been recognised as sources of great stress.

But it seems they are now matched by a new, peculiarly 21st century affliction - the fear of being out of mobile phone contact.

Millions apparently suffer from "no mobile phobia" which has been given the name nomophobia.

They have become so dependent on their mobile that discovering it is out of charge or simply misplacing it sends stress levels soaring.

More than 13million Britons fear being out of mobile phone contact, according to research.

Keeping in touch with friends or family is the main reason why they are so wedded to their mobile.

More than one in two said this is why they never switch it off.

One in ten said they needed to be contactable at all times because of their jobs, while 9 per cent said that having their phone switched off made them anxious.

Experts say nomophobia could affect up to 53 per cent of mobile phone users, with 48 per cent of women and 58 per cent of men questioned admitting to experiencing feelings of anxiety when they run out of battery or credit, lose their phone or have no network coverage.

The Post Office questioned more than 2,100 mobile phone users. Stewart Fox-Mills, the company's telecom expert, said: "Nomophobia is all too real for many people.

"We're all familiar with the stressful situations of everyday life such as moving house, break-ups and organising a family Christmas.

"But it seems that being out of mobile contact may be the 21st century's latest contribution to our already hectic lives.

"Whether you have run out of credit or battery, lose your phone or are in an area with no reception, being phoneless can bring on a panicky symptom in our 24/7 culture."

Researchers advise those keen to avoid nomophobia to keep their credit topped up, carry a charger at all times, give family and friends an alternative contact number and carry a pre-paid phonecard to make emergency calls if your mobile is broken, lost or stolen.

Other tips include keeping a record of your numbers in case you lose your handset and carrying the phone in a closed pocket or bag to avoid loss or theft.

They add that you could also try to liberate yourself from the shackles of your mobile by simply switching it off.

US Lawmaker Wants To Criminalize Anonymous Internet Posting

Kentucky Representative Tim Couch filed a bill this week to make anonymous posting online illegal.

The bill would require anyone who contributes to a website to register their real name, address and e-mail address with that site.

Their full name would be used anytime a comment is posted.

If the bill becomes law, the website operator would have to pay if someone was allowed to post anonymously on their site. The fine would be five-hundred dollars for a first offense and one-thousand dollars for each offense after that.

Representative Couch says he filed the bill in hopes of cutting down on online bullying. He says that has especially been a problem in his Eastern Kentucky district.

Action News 36 asked people what they thought about the bill.

Some said they felt it was a violation of First Amendment rights. Others say it is a good tool toward eliminating online harassment.

Represntative Couch says enforcing this bill if it became law would be a challenge.

Things may seem to be fine after all although I was very sick during the first week of Ramadhan, surprisingly, I was diagnosed with a kidney stone it was really painful but not very serious the stone is gone and I am feeling much more better now but I am still not able to blog as frequently as I used to be for the simple reason that I don't have a personal internet connection yet and the only way to connect is to go to a cybercafe...I am not gonna talk about the connection speed and the time I spend to just open a web page (sigh) and they talk about ADSL in Tunisia...Romdhankoum Mabrouk! عرضت القناة الفضائية اللبنانية"ألبيسي" الليلة الماضية برنامجا هامّا حول مسألة إجتماعية خطيرة ألا وهي " ختان الإناث" في بعض المجتمعات العربية والإسلامية مع التركيز على كلّ من مصر والسّودان وباعتبار أن المسألة قد أثيرت من قبل فإنّي سأتطرّق هنا إلى مسألة أخرى تكاد تكون مشابهة لختان الإناث وهي موجودة في تونس بالتّحديد وأظن أنّها مازالت مستعملة إللاى يومنا هذا وهذه المسألة تتمثّل في ما يعرف "بتصفيح الإناث" وهو عمل تقوم به النّساء الكبيرات في السّن للفتيات الصّغيرات اللاّتي لا تتجاوز أعمارهنّ الخمس سنوات بدعوى الخوف عليهنّ من فقدان عذريتهنّ وتتمثّل العملية في أن تستحمّ الفتاة على خشبة نول "منسج باللهجة التونسية" ثمّ تجرح في ركبتها سبعة جروح ثم تؤخذ حبات زبيب وتمرغ كل حبة بدم أحد تلك الجروح السبعة وتبتلعها الفتاة وهي تردد في كل مرة " أنا حيط وولد الناس خيط " سبع مرات وبذلك يتمّ حسب زعمهنّ تصفيح الفتاة وتحصينها حتّى إذا ما تزوجت أعيد الأمر بنفس الصورة من طرف الشخص الذي قام به أولا ورغم كون هذه العملية تعتبر نوعا من السّحر والشعوذة فإنها في أغلب الأحيان تكون لها نتيجة (أغلب ما في الأمر أن الفتاة تصاب بصدمة نفسية حاّة أثناء عملية التصفيح وترافقها هذه الصدمة حتّى ليلة زفافها) وأنا شخصيا سمعت عن حالات مشابهة لبعض المتزوّجين الذين تعرّضوا لحالات انهيار وإحباط أثناء ليلة الدخلة حيث يظن الزوج أنه مصاب بشيء ما ويتضح الأمر فيما بعد أن أمّ الزوجة أو جّدتها قد قامتا بتصفيح البنت وهي صغيرة وبمرور الزمن تكون الأم أو الجدّة قد نسيتا هذا العمل ولم تقوما بفكّ المعقود و قد يظن البعض أن مثل هذه الحكايات هي مجرّد خرافات ولكنها من صميم واقع بعض البيئات في المجتمع التونسي على الأقل ولا أدري إن كانت موجودة في المجتمعات العربية والإسلامية الأخرى أم لا ويبقى السّؤال هنا لماذا يلجأ بعض أفراد المجتمعات العربية والإسلامية لهذه الطرق القروسطية للمحافظة على شرف وعفّة المرأة أليس من الأجدر تعليم وتربية الفتاة على أن تحافظ على شرفها دون اللّجوء إلى الختان أو " التصفيح"؟

Well these are not pet names or members of a new music band. The 1980s created yuppies (Young Urban Professionals) and the 1990s brought us bobos (Bourgeois Bohemians) and the 2000s may be giving rise to a new kind of elite: yawns (Young and Wealthy but Normal).

Yawns are "young and wealthy but normal." They are men and women in their 30s and 40s who have become multimillionaires and billionaires during the wealth boom of the past decade. Yet rather than spending their money on yachts, boats and jets, yawns live modestly and spend most of their money on philanthropy. In stark contrast to the outsized titans of the Gilded Age and the slicked-back Gordon Gekkos of the 1980s, yawns are notable for their extraordinary dullness.

Take for instance Bill Gates, he is considered as the patron saint of yawnhood!

Today, I Got A Ticket!

Well this might seem a commonplace incident but I was really surprised today to get my first ticket after living 5 years in the US. I never thought that one day I will get one since I am so cautious when it comes to traffic signs and lights. Part of the surprise is that I don't have neither a car nor a truck nor even a bike or a skateboard! Today I got a 20 dollars fine ticket because I simply and inadvertantly walked against the DO NOT WALK sign! I confess: it's my fault after all. Anyway, my anger has been somehow lightened because I was among 10 other pedestrians who did the same violation;)

Hmmm can we apply that in Tunisia?...
