Catholic Faith And The Theory Of Evolution
Belief in the theory of evolution as accepted by science may be at odds with the Catholic faith, a leading Cardinal has written.Via Newsmax
In an op-ed article in Thursday's New York Times, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, archbishop of Vienna, a theologian who is close to Pope Benedict XVI, declared that "Evolution in the sense of common ancestry might be true, but evolution in the neo-Darwinian sense - an unguided, unplanned process of random variation and natural selection - is not."

Even in The Netherlands the Minister for Education (a roman catholic woman) is inclined to allow public schools to educate that Darwin might have been wrong. It's a sad thing to see that the survival of the fittest has changed to the survival of the religious insane (whether being Roman Catholic or Islamic)! ;-)
