Cherry Blossom Festival
Today, Washington, DC, celebrates the 2006 National Cherry Blossom Festival (March 25-April 9), which marks the 94th celebration of the original gift of the 3,000 cherry trees from the city of Tokyo to the people of Washington, DC in 1912.
