I just finished reading this mystery book which is set in Venice and written by Edward Sklepowich, an expatriate american professor and mystery writer and who happens to be my american literature professor 13 years ago!.

I was pleased to hear that you know Professor Sklepowich, I said my gosh the world is so small indeed. I couldn't find the link to your blog which I assume you have one so I am writing back here. Mr. Sklepowich was both my inspiration and mentor, I learned a lot from him. As I Lay Dying is my favourite Faulkner tour de force. I see you have Darl as a nickname:).
