"The Da Vinci Crackpots"

Yesterday I went to see "The Da Vinci Code".I will post something on my personal appreciation of this movie very soon, but in the meantime here is an article I came across via Arts & Letters Daily and which I think is worth reading.

Ahla :)
My friend and I are planning on going to the theater to watch the movie some time soon. The Da Vinci Code is a book I liked a lot, let's hope I won't be disappointed!
Btw Hannibal, I'm in DC right now and I loooooove being in a big city! you're lucky!

I don't go usually to the million-dollar-movies: I always thought that I can't really follow a movies in a packed screen-hall. I must say the movie (and I must add the novel too) was a triumphant triumvirat of: 1-boredom, 2- stupidity, 3-failure of thriller-drama. I suggest to read the following reviews of the movie (Hannibal the article you posted is more about the truthfulness of Brown's written "Da Vinci" rather than Howard's cinematic one):

@ Nasnoussa: welcome to Washington!

@Tarek: I agree, I haven't read the book yet, but it's not always the case that a novel is best rendered when turned into a movie.
