What streets are these ? I tried hard to guess where are they exactly but I am not sure if it's in downtown DC or some suburbian area like Maryland, Arlington ...
Seems you took those pic's early in the morning coz by night I'm sure there's a different view. I was in DC during thanksgiving period in 2004 and everything was decorated and especially overcroweded: clubs, restaurants, airports, streets, harbors...

@Snawsi: how long did you stay in DC?. These streets are two or three blocks from Dupont Circle. Let's start: the first one is N Street, NW, the 2nd one is 19th Street, NW, the 3rd one is New Hampshire Avenue,NW, the last one is 18th Street, NW :)

I took the pics around 3:30 pm. Unfortunately my cam doesn't have an hour option.

You may be right and I am wrong. But 2004 Thanksgiving I was here and it was for me one of the worst and most boring holidays in DC, I mean the day of thanksgiving, the 4th Thursday of November. May be the days preceding Thanksgiving you can see some activity but never Thanksgiving day itself, the only restaurants and shops which may open are those owned by koreans, Chinese or Middle Easterns, beside that all is closed for the day.You can be 100% assured that Thanksgiving Day in DC is like a ghost city or a cemetery:)

@Zyed: Yes, indeed!
